How it works

You connect your own brokerage account. Your money never leaves it. Dark Matter X never custodies funds, never manages money, and never gives advice — it is a tool you run on your own account at your own risk.

The engine runs one validated book — SWING (daily mean-reversion on liquid $10–100 equities, ATR-trailing exits) — behind one structural risk floor (OVERWATCH). No committee of vetoes.

The methodology is the moat. Pre-registered specs, walk-forward validation, deflated Sharpe corrected for the trial count, a 2022 bear-market holdout, Monte-Carlo ruin analysis, survivorship stress-testing, and broker-truth reconciliation.

We publish our failures. We killed crypto at honest costs. We killed the trend-diversification thesis. We killed the intraday book's claim to an edge — three pre-registered tests, three honest nulls, all in the commit history. The edge that survived is thin and real, not spectacular. That honesty is the product.
